Wer hebt, oh Meer, empor aus deiner Tiefe

Den Stern Atlantis, der in dir versank?

Wer gibt ihm wieder seinen alten Glanz

Und schenkt ihm eine neue Strahlenkrone,

Daß heller er am Himmel noch erscheine?

Einfach schockierend neue Ideen!

Where was Plato's Atlantic Sea located?
Comparism of different mythological traditions

In many old texts and illustrations there are hints that in prehistory there was a space station with concentric rings surrounding our earth. My consideration is Atlantis was that space station.

Where was Plato’s Atlantic Sea located?

There are hints that the old Greeks made a difference between the Atlantic Sea and the todays Atlantic.

With the old Greeks it was quite clear where to find the Atlantic sea. Another name for the Atlantic Sea is Oceanos (“About the world”, a scripture assigned to Aristoteles).
Hesiod describes in line 688 of his Theogony the fight of the titans against the Olympic Gods as well as the effect of this fight on earth:

on now the earth, and the stream of the Oceanus roared all around,
Also the obliterated sea […]

Enormously for all seekers of Atlantis Hesiod already describes that the Sky Sea around the earth as a whole is something else, than the sea on earth. Another confirmation delivers the translator Voss with his footnote to the lines 133 and 134 of Hesiods Theogony:

[…] Oceanos, the stream circling around the world, distinguished by Pontos, the sea surface  […]
Definitively and word for word it is distinguished already 300 years before Plato between the sea on the earth and the Sky Sea, which surrounds the earth. Hesiods “stream of the Oceanos roared all around” (the earth) reminds one of the Greek Apocalypse of Baruch:

And he took me and led me where the firmament has been set fast, and where there was a river which no one can cross, nor any strange breeze of all those which God created.

So this “stream” is located between the earth and the bond sky and the missing breeze reminds one on space/cosmos because there is no air (breeze). In addition I would like to point out the fact that the Sky Sea is also described in other old traditions. In the Slavic book of Enoch in the 4th chapter with the heading “sight of stars”, Enoch himself describes his first Ascension

[…] he also showed me 200 angels
and a very big sea,
greater than the sea of the earth,
and angels flew with their wings.

Of course the "Sky Sea" is bigger than the sea of the earth and because it is not of water, the angels have to use their wings to fly. I do not mention Enoch by chance in connection with Atlantis as one will see.

But where now, however, Atlantis is to be searched? From the pre called and with citations occupied knowledge it is impossibly the today's Atlantic. Because of that my conclusion is that it must’ve been the Sky Sea where the island Atlantis existed at that time as a space station of the “gods”. The metal-dressed up "embankments" which were never found on earth (nor other cities) fulfil their sense in space. Just like the concentric rings, because with a space station turning around itself-gravitation is generated in the big ring. Such a golden city turning around itself is mentioned in the Mahabharata. The NASA designer Josef F.Blumrich derives theoretically such a space station from his knowledge of the book Ezekiel. There is Petroglyphs worldwide which simply show a ring with hub and spokes. Often this ring is illustrated in a way that proves its airworthiness (e.g. wings). However, one can also approach from the side of the Oceanus to the island Atlantis: Elysium (lat.) or Elysion (Greek) is in the Greek Mythology the island of the blessed which is to be found in the extreme west of the world surrounded by the Oceanos. Considering the earlier made interpretations and partly facts Atlantis would be a space station, because apparently this is identical with Elysium. In Schiller’s first stanza of the ode to the joy (which I think is probably a secret and overwritten Atlantis epic of the Freemasons) one says:

Joy, beautiful sparkle of the gods,
Daughter of Elysium,
We enter, fire-drunk,
Heavenly one, your shrine.
Your magic again binds
What custom's sword has parted
Beggars become princes' brothers
Where your tender wing lingers.

Elysium (place of the blessed after death-Greek Mythology) stands for the space station and daughter for the space ship, which brought the beggars to the heavenly sanctum and let them become royal brothers (princes)- original text from 1785, up there now the royal brothers honoured the “gods” in the second choir as follows

Those who occupy the great circle
Pays homage to the sympathy
It leads to the stars
Where the unknown one reigns.

Here again we hear about the big ring. The fact that the inhabitants of this big ring are escorted to the stars, likewise points to a space station. One will find the same in Verdaguers Atlantis epic in which the STAR Atlantis, the shining star of the sky, has sunk into the sea. Therefore, Verdaguer asked:

Where is the Elysium of the West?
Where is the empire, that reached

With its arm around both hemispheres?

One can span both Hemispheres only from the orbit, so that this Elysium must have also been located in space. Finally I quote a text from the Ethiopian book of Enoch, which is in my opinion an eyewitness's report of Atlantis in space, shortly before its destruction.

I walked all around, until I came to a place where there was no thing. There I saw something terrible: I saw no sky above and no firm land below but a desolate and terrible place.

The place had incisions up to the abyss and was quite full of big down falling fire columns. I could not see its expansion and width, nor was I able to determine them.
